Jose Merced Barajas

Jose Merced Barajas passed away Friday, July 31, 2020. He was born on September 24, 1946 in Capetillo, GTO., Mexico, to Asuncion and Maria Del Carmen Pinon Barajas. Jose did not know a stranger, as he and his wife were dedicated to their community for the 35 years they have spent at the local J&M Bakery that they have owned for the past 35 years. Jose was a hard worker, and was humble and kind to everyone he met. His strong faith in the Lord made him the greatest husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, anyone could ever have known. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; two Sisters, Enedina and Socorro and Brother Jose Jesus Barajas.

Mr. Barajas is survived by his  Wife, Margarita Barajas; Daughters, Melissa (Baltazar) Ramirez and Melinda Barajas; one Son, Jose Barajas Jr. (Jennifer McCoy) He is also survived by five Sisters, Simona, Virginia, Margarita, Santos, Leonila; three Brothers, Mecindo, Ezequiel, Bernardo and 11 Grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Michael Barajas, Baltazar Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez, John Zuniga, Ramiro Sandoval, and Dionicio Zuniga.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 3:00 pm with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Dobie Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church.

Face coverings must be worn per Governor Abbott.
