Debbie Cavazos Kay
Debra “Debbie” Cavazos Kay passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Mathis, Texas surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.
Debbie was born to Luis Cavazos and Lucia Vela Cavazos on November 6, 1969 in Lockney, Texas. She graduated from Mathis High School in 1990 and she obtained her cosmetology license in 1991.
She lived life on her terms. Throughout her challenges, she kept her smile and love for people. She is now rejoicing with her parents and other loved ones who have passed before her.
Debbie is survived by a son, sisters Mary (Jose) Longoria and Dominga Cavazos; brothers Jose Luis (Norma) Cavazos, George (Nori) Cavazos and Leonel Cavazos; several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by many. The family would like to thank all healthcare workers who helped care for her over the years.
Visitation for Debbie will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Dobie Funeral Home. Holy Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a funeral mass at 1:00 p.m.
